Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef Manager to join our team at Locale Restaurant. As a key member of our culinary staff, you will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and presentation of all menu items, as well as managing kitchen operations to ensure seamless service delivery.

About the Role

This is a permanent position, offering a competitive salary of $70,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience. You will work 40 hours per week in a fast-paced environment with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.

Key Responsibilities
  • Estimate and manage food costs, consumption, sales, and inventory
  • Analyze operating costs and other data to inform business decisions
  • Demonstrate new cooking techniques and equipment to cooking staff
  • Create new recipes and menus to drive revenue growth
  • Instruct cooks in preparation, cooking, garnishing, and presentation of food
  • Supervise cooks and other kitchen staff to ensure efficient service delivery
Requirements
  • Cook Trade Certification
  • 1-2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects
