About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Snow Plow Operator to join our winter maintenance team at Colas, a leading provider of transportation infrastructure maintenance services. As a Snow Plow Operator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient removal of snow and ice from local roads and highways.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a combo plow unit to clear snow and ice from roads and highways
  • Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on equipment as required
  • Conduct accurate documentation of fuel reports, safety reports, and hours of service
  • Maintain and clean equipment to ensure optimal performance
  • Meet call-in requirements during winter storm events
Requirements
  • DZ or AZ license with a clean driver's abstract
  • Ability to work assigned shifts, including evenings, weekends, nights, and holidays
  • Willingness to work in extreme weather conditions
  • Previous experience in winter-works operations an asset
Preferred Qualifications
  • Ability to drive manual transmission
  • Mechanical knowledge and ability to perform routine maintenance and minor repairs
  • Good understanding of MTO standards and AMC Contract Performance Requirements
