Job Title: Metal Fabrication Assistant

We are seeking a skilled Metal Fabrication Assistant to join our team at AVILION METALCRAFT LTD. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for assisting in the fabrication of metal products, ensuring high-quality finishes, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the operation of metal cleaning equipment to remove excess welds, rust, and other materials from metal products.
  • Immerse metal products in cleaning solutions to achieve a high-quality finish.
  • Sort and organize metal sheets and parts, scrap metal, and other materials to ensure efficient production.
  • Grind or chip excess metal from metal products using hand tools.
  • Clean machines and immediate work areas to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
  • Load and unload vehicles to transport materials and products.
  • Polish metal products to a mirror finish.
  • Read and interpret work orders to ensure accurate completion of tasks.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Ability to work in a dusty, hot, and noisy environment.
  • Manual dexterity and attention to detail.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and handle heavy loads.
  • Excellent oral communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
Work Environment:

Our sheet metal fabrication shop is a fast-paced environment where you will be working with a variety of metal products and equipment. You will be required to wear steel-toed safety boots, safety glasses/goggles, gloves, and a hard hat to ensure your safety.
