Job Summary:

As a Regional Sales Coordinator at AccorHotel, you will play a key role in driving sales growth and excellence in the Canadian Western Mountain Region. This exciting opportunity will see you working closely with our Sales team to develop and execute sales strategies, build relationships with clients, and drive revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinating and supporting all aspects of sales activities, including taking initial inquiries, generating leads, proposals, blocking space, referrals, and contracts.
  • Processing proposals and contracts as required.
  • Coordinating specific marketing initiatives involving Revenue Streams.
  • After appropriate training and development, participating in site inspections, familiarization tours, trade shows, and functions within the hotel as required and in the absence of the Sales Manager.
  • Being an effective team player within the Sales team of Canada's Western Mountain Region and with other team members in Catering and Conventions, Guest Services, Food and Beverage, and other key areas within the hotel and the region.
  • Actively seeking opportunities to improve systems and procedures while consistently offering professional and engaging service.

Qualifications:

  • One year's experience in a hotel environment, ideally within Sales, Reservations, Conference Services, or Front Office.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledge of Opera Sales & Catering / Opera Sales Force Automation and Property Manager are assets.
  • Ability to meet deadlines working in a fast-paced environment.
