Strategic Sales Development Lead

KAG Canada is a leading player in the North American logistics and transportation industry. As a Business Development Manager, you will play a key role in driving growth and expansion within the company.
The Role:
- Collaborate with the Senior Leadership Team to develop and execute a strategic sales and business development plan.
- Work closely with department leaders to ensure the necessary resources are in place to deliver on commitments and achieve high customer satisfaction.
- Develop strategies for communications and social media to promote the business and drive growth opportunities.
- Provide direction and support to other leaders in growing their sales and business development skills.
- Stay informed about industry regulations, market trends, and economic climate to make informed business decisions.
- Represent the company at industry events and conferences, and share knowledge on market and industry trends.
Requirements:
- Post-secondary education in administration, safety, logistics, or transportation, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 5 years of experience with management responsibilities in the transportation industry.
- Bilingual, French and English.
- Experience in fuels, agricultural, and chemicals markets is highly desired.
- Previous sales or business development experience is essential.
- Facilitation skills are required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Well-organized, detail-oriented, and enthusiastic with a "roll up your sleeves" attitude.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
