KAG Canada is a leading player in the North American logistics and transportation industry. As a Business Development Manager, you will play a key role in driving growth and expansion within the company.

The Role:

  1. Collaborate with the Senior Leadership Team to develop and execute a strategic sales and business development plan.
  2. Work closely with department leaders to ensure the necessary resources are in place to deliver on commitments and achieve high customer satisfaction.
  3. Develop strategies for communications and social media to promote the business and drive growth opportunities.
  4. Provide direction and support to other leaders in growing their sales and business development skills.
  5. Stay informed about industry regulations, market trends, and economic climate to make informed business decisions.
  6. Represent the company at industry events and conferences, and share knowledge on market and industry trends.

Requirements:

  • Post-secondary education in administration, safety, logistics, or transportation, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience with management responsibilities in the transportation industry.
  • Bilingual, French and English.
  • Experience in fuels, agricultural, and chemicals markets is highly desired.
  • Previous sales or business development experience is essential.
  • Facilitation skills are required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Well-organized, detail-oriented, and enthusiastic with a "roll up your sleeves" attitude.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
