Talent Acquisition Specialist

About the Role
Dollarama is seeking a seasoned Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our team on a 14-month maternity leave replacement contract. As a key member of our recruitment team, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and supporting the company's vision.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with hiring managers to assess their needs, develop job profiles, and guide them through the recruitment process;
- Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies, leveraging traditional and innovative sourcing methods;
- Manage the entire recruitment process, from need assessment to onboarding, including job postings, salary scales, candidate selection, interviews, and new hire orientation;
- Conduct integration interviews for new employees and exit interviews;
- Participate in recruitment events, such as job fairs;
- Contribute to process improvements and special projects;
- Work closely with the HR team to support business needs and initiatives.
Requirements
- Hold a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field;
- Three to five years of recruitment experience in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, preferably in the retail industry and across various functions and levels;
- Demonstrate high integrity and professionalism in handling confidential information;
- Be curious, perceptive, and able to explore in-depth and ask the right questions to select the best candidate;
- Be comfortable with change, ambiguity, and working independently and in a team;
- Be energetic, motivated, results-driven, creative, innovative, and flexible;
- Be proficient in administrative tasks and strategic planning;
- Have good computer skills and attention to detail;
- Be eager to make a significant contribution to a growing organization;
- Bilingualism (French and English) is required to support recruitment across various regions.
