Position Overview

The role of the Talent Acquisition Specialist is pivotal in identifying and securing exceptional talent for the organization. This position is integral to fostering career growth and supporting the strategic objectives of Dollarama. The selected individual will oversee the recruitment lifecycle, ensuring a seamless and positive experience for candidates while aligning with the company's mission.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage with department heads to evaluate staffing requirements and provide comprehensive support throughout the hiring process.
  • Develop and execute effective recruitment strategies utilizing both conventional and creative sourcing techniques.
  • Manage the full recruitment cycle from identifying needs to facilitating onboarding.
  • Conduct both integration and exit interviews to gather valuable insights.
  • Participate in various recruitment initiatives and events to enhance talent acquisition efforts.
  • Contribute to ongoing process enhancements and special projects as needed.
  • Collaborate with the HR department on unique requests to address business demands.

Qualifications

  • A degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • Three to five years of experience in recruitment within a dynamic environment, ideally in the retail sector.
  • Demonstrated integrity and professionalism in handling sensitive information.
  • A keen sense of curiosity and insight to identify the most suitable candidates.
  • Able to navigate ambiguity, working effectively both independently and collaboratively.
  • Dynamic, driven, results-focused, innovative, and flexible.
  • Proficient in computer applications with a strong attention to detail.
  • A commitment to making a meaningful impact within a growing organization.
  • Bilingual proficiency in French and English is essential.
