Talent Acquisition Specialist

About the Role
Dollarama is seeking a seasoned Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our recruitment team, you will play a critical role in building a high-performing team by attracting, developing, and retaining top talent.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand their needs, develop job descriptions, and implement effective recruitment strategies;
- Coordinate and execute recruitment processes, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding new employees;
- Develop and maintain relationships with external partners and stakeholders to support recruitment efforts;
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve recruitment processes and strategies;
- Participate in talent development initiatives and contribute to the growth and success of the organization.
Requirements
- Post-secondary degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field;
- 3-5 years of experience in recruitment, preferably in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with a focus on talent acquisition and management;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders;
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions;
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a focus on delivering results and meeting deadlines;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications;
- Bilingualism (English and French) is required to support recruitment efforts across the country.
