Position Overview
The role of the Talent Acquisition Specialist is crucial in identifying and attracting exceptional talent to drive the success of Dollarama. This position is essential for fostering career growth and supporting the strategic objectives of the organization. The ideal candidate will take charge of the recruitment lifecycle, ensuring a seamless and positive experience for all candidates while aligning with the company's mission.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with hiring managers to evaluate staffing requirements and provide comprehensive support throughout the recruitment journey.
- Develop and execute effective recruitment strategies utilizing both conventional and innovative sourcing techniques.
- Manage the complete recruitment cycle from initial needs assessment to successful onboarding of new hires.
- Conduct both integration and exit interviews to gather valuable feedback.
- Participate actively in recruitment fairs and other talent acquisition initiatives.
- Contribute to ongoing process enhancements and special projects to improve recruitment efficiency.
- Collaborate with the HR department on unique requests to meet organizational needs.
Qualifications
- A degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Three to five years of experience in recruitment within a dynamic environment, ideally in the retail sector.
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism in handling sensitive information.
- A keen sense of curiosity and insight to identify the most suitable candidates.
- Able to navigate ambiguity and work both independently and collaboratively.
- Energetic, driven, results-focused, creative, and adaptable.
- Proficient in computer applications with a strong attention to detail.
- A commitment to making a meaningful impact within a growing organization.
- Bilingual proficiency in French and English is essential.
