About the Role
We are searching for a dedicated Talent Acquisition Specialist to contribute to our dynamic team. This role is crucial in identifying and attracting top talent, supporting career development initiatives, and ultimately driving the company's growth. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the entire recruitment lifecycle, ensuring a positive candidate experience, and aligning with Dollarama's overall vision and objectives.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and provide comprehensive support throughout the recruitment process.
- Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies utilizing both traditional and innovative sourcing methods.
- Oversee all stages of the recruitment process, from initial need assessment to onboarding new hires.
- Conduct exit interviews to gather valuable insights and identify areas for improvement.
- Participate in recruitment events and initiatives to expand our talent pool.
- Contribute to process optimization and special projects aimed at enhancing our recruitment efforts.
- Work with the HR team on various requests to support the company's evolving needs.
Requirements
- Possess a degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Have three to five years of proven experience in recruitment within a fast-paced environment, ideally within the retail sector.
- Demonstrate high ethical standards and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Exhibit strong analytical skills and the ability to identify top talent through insightful assessments.
- Be comfortable working independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
- Possess a highly motivated, results-oriented mindset with a creative and adaptable approach.
- Demonstrate proficiency in computer applications and meticulous attention to detail.
- Show a genuine desire to make a significant contribution to a growing company.
- Fluency in both French and English is essential.
