The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) plays a pivotal role in leading the Environmental Operators Certification Program (EOCP) towards achieving its strategic objectives and ensuring the organization operates efficiently and effectively. This senior leadership position demands a dynamic leader with a deep understanding of the industry, strong financial acumen, and the ability to navigate complex regulatory environments.

Job Overview

As CEO, you will drive the organization's vision, oversee certification programs, build key relationships, ensure financial stability, and inspire a high-performance team. Your expertise in strategic planning, project management, and customer relationship management will be invaluable in enhancing the organization's impact and sustainability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Uphold and promote EOCP's vision and mission by leading the development and implementation of the organization's strategic plan, establishing long-term goals and objectives in collaboration with the Board, driving strategic initiatives for growth and innovation, cultivating relationships with key stakeholders, and fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
  • Oversee the planning, implementation, and evaluation of EOCP's certification and classification programs, ensuring these programs align with the organization's mission and Board's priorities, and continuously improving the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system to enhance data collection, reporting, and communication.
Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline, such as business administration or environmental science.
  • At least 10 years of leadership experience in a related field, preferably within the water/wastewater industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to inspire and motivate teams, foster collaboration, and drive organizational performance.
  • Strong business management acumen and understanding of strategic planning.
  • Strong project management skills, able to guide projects from inception to completion.
  • Knowledge of CRM systems and experience in driving customer management initiatives.
Compensation and Benefits

This senior leadership position comes with a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. Additionally, the package includes comprehensive benefits, including medical and dental insurance, retirement savings, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
