Job Title: Environmental Sustainability Expert - Project Management

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Environmental Sustainability Expert - Project Manager to join our team at BC Hydro. As an Environmental Sustainability Expert - Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing projects that align with our company's environmental sustainability goals.

About the Role:

  • This is a permanent full-time position working 37.5 hours per week
  • The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of experience in natural resources, conservation, or related fields
  • Strong expertise in project management, finance, and environmental studies is required

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement project plans to achieve environmental sustainability goals
  • Manage and lead cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within budget
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and mitigate environmental risks and opportunities
  • Conduct financial analysis and provide recommendations to improve project financial performance
  • Analyzing data to inform project decisions and ensure alignment with company objectives

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g. environmental studies, natural resources management)
  • At least 5 years of experience in project management, environmental sustainability, or a related field
  • Strong expertise in project management, finance, and environmental studies
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills

What We Offer:

  • A competitive salary range of $110,000 - $140,000 per year
