Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Environmental Sustainability Coordinator to join our team at BC Hydro. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting the development and implementation of environmental sustainability initiatives that drive positive outcomes for our customers and the environment.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work on a range of projects, from developing and implementing sustainable practices to collaborating with internal stakeholders to advance environmental goals. As an Environmental Sustainability Coordinator, you will be responsible for conducting research, analyzing data, and providing recommendations to support decision-making.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct research and analysis on environmental sustainability trends and best practices
  • Develop and implement sustainable practices and initiatives within the organization
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to advance environmental goals
  • Provide recommendations to support decision-making
  • Maintain accurate records and reports of sustainability initiatives and progress
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will require a strong understanding of environmental sustainability principles and practices, as well as excellent analytical, communication, and project management skills.

You will have a degree in a relevant field such as environmental science, sustainability, or a related discipline, and/or equivalent experience in a related field. You will also have a proven track record of working in a fast-paced environment and delivering results under tight deadlines.

What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary of $65,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience. You will also have access to a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision coverage, as well as a generous retirement savings plan.
