Job Title: Special Education Teacher

We are seeking a qualified Special Education Teacher to join our team at the Provincial and Demonstration Schools Branch.

About the Role:

This is an on-call/supply opportunity for a Special Education Teacher to work with students with learning disabilities at the Trillium Demonstration School in Milton.

Responsibilities:
  • Teach Elementary/Secondary homeroom and may be required to teach Math, English, History, Science or other courses as assigned.
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans for students with learning disabilities.
  • Collaborate with the lodging staff to provide a supportive learning environment.
  • Use online learning tools and instruct remotely.
Requirements:
  • Valid Certification of Registration from the Ontario College of Teachers.
  • Special Education qualifications (minimum Part 1).
  • Appropriate division qualifications for position required.
  • Preference will be given to candidates who hold or are in the process of obtaining a Temporary Certificate of Qualification and Registration.
