Job Summary

Royal Bank of Canada is seeking a highly skilled Philanthropic Advisory Specialist to provide strategic advice and guidance to high net worth individuals and families in developing their philanthropic and legacy plans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement philanthropic strategies and solutions for clients, leveraging expertise in Canadian tax rules and issues affecting privately owned entities, entrepreneurs, and high net worth individuals.
  • Collaborate with RBC Wealth Management advisors and Family Office Services specialists to understand client goals and objectives, and provide tailored solutions.
  • Stay up-to-date on emerging trends in philanthropy and the national donor advised fund landscape, and contribute to the development of the RBC Charitable Gift Program's strategic vision and long-term goals.
Requirements
  • Bilingualism (English and French) required, with regular interactions with clients and RBC partners across Canada.
  • University degree and 10+ years of experience in accounting, tax law, wealth planning, or philanthropy.
  • Strong knowledge of charitable giving strategies, issues, and trends, as well as exceptional relationship management and collaboration skills.
