We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Philanthropic Advisory Specialist to join our team at RBC. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in providing strategic advice and guidance to high net worth and ultra high net worth clients in developing their family philanthropic and legacy plans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic philanthropy wealth planning for high net worth and ultra high net worth individuals and business owners
  • Self-source new philanthropy wealth planning engagements through a combination of in-person and virtual activities
  • Review clients' current situations and develop philanthropic strategies and solutions that leverage your expertise in Canadian tax rules and issues unique to privately owned entities, entrepreneurs, and high net worth individuals
  • Deliver customized memos or PowerPoint presentations summarizing strategies and discussions
  • Identify emerging trends in philanthropy and contribute to the development and refinement of the strategic vision and long-term goals for the RBC Charitable Gift Program
Requirements
  • Bilingualism (English and French) required
  • University degree
  • 10 years or more of related experience in accounting, tax law, wealth planning, or philanthropy
  • Strong knowledge and technical proficiency related to charitable giving strategies, issues, and trends
  • Exceptional relationship management skills to build deep, trusted partnerships with target clients
  • Exceptional ability to collaborate and partner with colleagues at all levels across a global matrix organization
