Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement philanthropic strategies and solutions for clients, leveraging expertise in Canadian tax rules and issues affecting privately owned entities and high net worth individuals.
  • Collaborate with RBC Wealth Management advisors and Family Office Services specialists to identify and pursue new philanthropy wealth planning engagements.
  • Conduct in-depth reviews of clients' current situations, identifying opportunities to enhance their philanthropic impact and develop customized solutions.
  • Communicate complex philanthropic strategies and solutions to clients, their accountants, and lawyers, ensuring seamless implementation.
  • Stay up-to-date on emerging trends in philanthropy and the national donor advised fund landscape, contributing to the development of RBC's strategic vision and long-term goals.
Requirements
  • Bilingualism (English and French) is required, as you will work with clients and RBC partners across Canada.
  • University degree and 10+ years of experience in accounting, tax law, wealth planning, or philanthropy.
  • Strong knowledge of charitable giving strategies, issues, and trends.
  • Exceptional relationship management and collaboration skills.
  • Flexibility to travel locally and across Eastern Canada when required.
