About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Woodland Park Housing Co-operative. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the upkeep and maintenance of our properties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our facilities, including repairs, replacements, and preventative maintenance.
  • Conduct inspections to identify potential issues and take corrective action to prevent equipment failure or damage.
  • Operate and maintain a variety of equipment, including power tools, power lawn mowers, security systems, and small tractors.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations, including WHMIS certification.
  • Work effectively in a team environment to achieve goals and objectives.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues, management, and residents to ensure seamless operations.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in maintenance or a related field.
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • Steel-toed safety boots and other personal protective equipment as required.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
