About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Person to join our team at Woodland Park Housing Co-operative. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the upkeep and maintenance of our properties, ensuring a safe and comfortable living environment for our residents.

Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including repairs and replacements of equipment and fixtures
  • Conduct regular inspections of properties to identify and address any maintenance issues
  • Operate power tools, lawn mowers, and other equipment as required
  • Ensure compliance with WHMIS regulations and maintain a safe working environment
  • Collaborate with other team members to achieve maintenance goals and objectives
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in a maintenance or facilities role
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Physical ability to lift up to 45 kg and work in a fast-paced environment
