Quality Assurance Inspector

As a Quality Assurance Inspector at NPA WorldWide, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and accuracy of our manufactured products. This position requires a strong understanding of quality control principles and the ability to interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
Key Responsibilities:- Inspect machined and fabricated jobs to ensure compliance with drawing, process, and customer specifications.
- Monitor in-process jobs to prevent non-conformance issues.
- Inspect items received from sub-contracted processes to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Prepare and maintain quality documents, such as certificates of compliance and dimensional reports.
- Maintain a calibration system for measuring instruments.
- Assist employees with production issues related to drawing and process interpretation.
- Promote high expectations, efficiency, and safety in the work environment.
- Operate measuring equipment according to established procedures.
- Identify irregularities in parts and non-conformance to quality standards.
- Prepare and manage non-conformance reports.
- Assist in the investigation and resolution of non-conformance issues.
- Liaise with customers and vendors regarding quality issues.
- 5+ years of work experience in a machine and fabrication shop environment or engineering department of a manufacturer with heavy machining capabilities.
- Strong understanding of quality control principles and the ability to interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
