Quality Assurance Inspector

We are seeking a highly experienced Quality Assurance Inspector to join our team at Trans-United Consultants Ltd.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all machined and fabricated jobs meet the required standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the training of new employees on measuring equipment and quality policies.
- Inspect products throughout the manufacturing process to prevent defects and ensure compliance with customer specifications.
- Maintain a calibration system for company-owned and employee-owned measuring instruments.
- Investigate and resolve non-conformance issues.
- Liaise with customers and vendors regarding quality-related matters.
- Minimum 10+ years' experience in a machine shop or engineering department with heavy machining capabilities.
- Strong understanding of quality control principles, blueprints, and measuring tools.
- Excellent problem-solving and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
This role is based in Kingston and requires frequent travel to other sites. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to delivering high-quality results and meeting deadlines.
SalaryThe estimated annual salary for this role is $85,000-$110,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
