Salary and Benefits

As a Registered Nurse on our General Surgery unit, you can expect to earn an estimated salary of $63.55 - $101.95 per hour based on the collective agreement with ONA. Additionally, you will be eligible for competitive offer packages, government pension plans, and various benefits such as close access to transit and on-site gyms.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team on 9ES, a 38-bed General Surgery/Surgical Oncology unit. Your primary responsibilities will include assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care. You will work closely with an interdisciplinary team to provide high-quality person-centered care to adult patients undergoing surgical procedures.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support Certification
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with a focus on teamwork and collaboration
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and decision-making skills
  • Organizational and time management skills
  • Computer literacy
  • BScN degree preferred
