About the Role

Avison Young is seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Commercial Real Estate Director to lead and grow our Vancouver and British Columbia operations. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for managing and developing our business in the region, driving revenue growth, and building strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement business strategies to drive revenue growth and expand our market share in Vancouver and British Columbia.
  • Lead and manage a team of commercial real estate professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and mentorship to ensure their success.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders, identifying new business opportunities and driving sales growth.
  • Stay up-to-date with market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments, providing insights and recommendations to inform business decisions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement marketing strategies, product offerings, and service enhancements.
  • Manage budgets, forecasts, and financial performance, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our clients' needs, preferences, and pain points, using this knowledge to inform business decisions and drive growth.
  • Represent Avison Young at industry events, conferences, and networking functions, promoting our brand and building relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Stay current with industry developments, best practices, and regulatory requirements, ensuring compliance and adherence to company policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in commercial real estate, with a proven track record of success in leadership and business development roles.
  • Broker's Real Estate license required.
  • Strong business acumen, with the ability to analyze complex data, identify trends, and make informed business decisions.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Strategic thinker, with the ability to develop and implement business strategies that drive revenue growth and expand market share.
  • Results-driven, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality results and exceeding performance targets.
  • Collaborative team player, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.
