Job Description

We are seeking a collaborative individual to join our team as a Public Service Assistant at the West Point Grey Branch. As a key member of our circulation team, you will be responsible for delivering responsive customer service, supporting library programming, and understanding community-led approaches.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent, supplemented by relevant courses and/or experience;
  • Experience in a customer service environment, preferably in a library setting;
  • An excellent understanding of library methods, procedures, and tools applicable to the work;
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills;
  • Ability to plan, organize, and carry out assigned duties and responsibilities effectively.
