We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Director of Provincial Practice to join our team at the BC Public Service Agency. In this senior leadership role, you will play a critical part in shaping the future of child welfare services in British Columbia.

**Job Overview**

The Executive Director of Provincial Practice is responsible for leading the implementation of a collaborative, strength-based service system across the province. You will oversee practice leadership, direction, and support to staff in Service Delivery Areas (SDAs), ensuring consistent high-quality services are delivered under the Child, Family and Community Service Act.

**Key Responsibilities**

- Provide leadership, advice, and subject matter expertise across divisions on child protection, family service, out-of-care options, youth services, resources, and guardianship services.

- Collaborate with Executive Directors of Services to identify unique needs of each SDA and develop targeted solutions.

- Foster strong relationships with Indigenous partners, community agencies, and other stakeholders to ensure culturally responsive services.

**Requirements**

- A Bachelor's degree or higher in a social sciences discipline, such as social work, child and youth care, or counseling.

- Minimum 5 years of recent experience in a leadership role managing financial and human resources.

- Minimum 5 years of recent experience in a child welfare setting, including practice support, delivery, and oversight of services.

- Strong strategic leadership, change management, and influence skills.

**Preferred Qualifications**

- Experience working with First Nations communities and Indigenous partners.

- Eligible to be fully delegated under the Child, Family and Community Service Act.
