The BC Public Service Agency seeks a skilled and detail-oriented Court Clerk to join our team in North Vancouver. As a key member of the Provincial Court, you will play a vital role in ensuring access to justice for court participants.

About the Role

As a Combo Clerk (Court/Registry Clerk), you will support the court registry and the courtroom, providing expert service to the public and justice partners. Your responsibilities will include assisting with filing documents, accessing court records, managing courtroom procedures, and accurately recording proceedings using courtroom technology.

This dynamic and impactful role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities
  • Support the court registry and courtroom teams
  • Assist with filing documents and accessing court records

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Secondary school graduation or equivalent
  • 2 years of experience working in an office environment or 2 years combination of customer service, clerical duties, office experience, and education
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in keyboarding, data entry, word processing, standard computer applications, and software programs
  • 40 WPM keyboarding/typing speed
Preferred Qualifications

We welcome applicants with experience in Court Programs and Applications, customer service, court clerk and/or registry clerk roles, previous work experience in a court or legal environment, and accounting services.

What We Offer

The BC Public Service Agency offers a competitive salary range of $59,015.56 - $66,749.47 annually, which includes a 3 Grid Temporary Market Adjustment*. This is a full-time on-site position with opportunities for professional growth and development.
