Job Overview

As the Director of Sales and Marketing Executive, you will be responsible for driving sales and marketing success at Garibaldi Glass Industries Inc. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will work closely with the executive suite to exceed sales and marketing goals. You will lead dynamic teams in Canada and the USA, managing internal and outsourced marketing resources to deliver outstanding results.

Supported by a talented and growing Sales & Estimating team, an in-house Sales & Marketing Coordinator, and expert Marketing & Communications team, you will foster leadership growth, customer excellence, and a passion for team-driven success. These key ingredients will thrive in this pivotal role.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Strategic Visionary: Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy in collaboration with the CEO, aligning with business objectives. Identify target markets, create pricing strategies, and craft sales tactics to promote products and services while driving profitable revenue growth.
  2. Team Builder & People Leader: Lead, develop, and inspire the Sales team (Outside, Inside Sales, and Estimating) to achieve profitable growth. Your leadership in recruiting, onboarding, and supporting team members will be vital to growth. Foster a high-performing team through effective coaching, mentorship, and recognition.
  3. Expansion Driver: Play a crucial role in expanding the outside sales team in Canada and the USA. Drive sales objectives, uncover new opportunities, and create new and cherish existing strong client relationships.
  4. Engagement Champion: Make joint calls, client visits, and host events (e.g., plant tours) with the sales team and partners to support efforts. Represent the company at internal and external social and industry events as well as various associations meetings, building long-term business connections and expanding legacy.
  5. Internal Connector: Build strong, collaborative relationships with key internal stakeholders, including the VP of Manufacturing & Operations, Finance team, company owners, partners, and others.
  6. Metrics Champion: Develop and execute strategic plans to drive revenue growth, lead the sales team, and set sales targets. Analyze market trends to identify growth opportunities and collaborate with the CFO to create accurate sales forecasts, ensuring these forecasts align with the company's financial goals and budgets.
Marketing Leadership
  1. Brand Ambassador: Lead the development of sales and marketing materials, providing direction and support for all brand marketing activities. This includes ownership of sales materials, company website, emails, social media, events, product portfolios, and promotional programs.
  2. Strategic Marketer: Leverage your proven experience in strategic marketing to expand customer knowledge base, strengthen global partnerships, drive product innovation, and deepen market analysis and competitive intelligence.
Qualifications
  1. Educational Background: A university or college degree with strong communication skills, ideally in Business Administration, Sales, or Marketing.
  2. Industry Expertise: Proven leadership experience in Technical Sales & Marketing, preferably within the Construction, General Contracting, Building Products, Trade Contractors, or Architecture industries.
  3. Process Improvement: Experience with Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement methodologies.
Working Conditions

This position works primarily in an office environment with occasional time spent within a manufacturing environment. This position requires regular local travel and occasional international travel.
