Faculty Position in Occupational Therapy

We are seeking a highly qualified individual to join our team as an Assistant Professor in the School of Occupational Therapy.

The Faculty of Health Sciences at Western University is committed to advancing knowledge and improving health outcomes through innovative research, education, and practice. Our school is recognized nationally and internationally for its leadership in occupational therapy and occupational science.

Job Description:

This full-time tenure-track position will focus on establishing an externally funded research program that aligns with one or more of our four research pillars: optimizing health and wellbeing, building diverse and inclusive communities, evolving occupational therapy practice and education, and advancing social and occupational justice.

Responsibilities include teaching assigned courses, supervising Master's and PhD students, and fulfilling administrative duties within the school and university.

Required Qualifications:

  • PhD in Occupational Science or a related field
  • Registration or eligibility for registration with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario (COTO)
  • Demonstrated research excellence and significant knowledge in occupational science/occupational therapy, particularly in relation to our research pillars
