About Our Community Occupational Therapist Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our team in Ontario's communities. As a Community Occupational Therapist, you will have the opportunity to work with clients with a variety of diagnoses and injuries, focusing on their return to previous levels of function.

You will be engaged in various programs, including in-home and hospital discharge assessments, ergonomic assessments, concussion treatment, cognitive rehabilitation, and mental health treatment. Our ideal candidate will have clinical experience in areas such as brain injury rehabilitation, mental health, musculoskeletal and orthopedic injury, home safety, and ergonomics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct in-vivo exposure therapy and behavioral activation
  • Facilitate trauma processing, coping, and return to function
  • Provide workplace accommodation recommendations
  • Complete job site assessments, ergonomic assessments, and cognitive abilities evaluations
