About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Insurance Sales Representative to join our team at Jeff Cooke Insurance Agency Ltd. As an Insurance Sales Representative, you will be responsible for assessing potential client markets, calculating premiums, and establishing client insurance coverage.

Key Responsibilities
  • Market Assessment: Conduct thorough market research to identify potential client markets and assess their insurance needs.
  • Premium Calculation: Calculate premiums for clients based on their insurance needs and risk profiles.
  • Client Coverage: Establish and maintain client insurance coverage, ensuring that all necessary forms and policy requirements are completed.
  • Claims Management: Monitor insurance claims and respond to client inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to clients, addressing their concerns and needs in a prompt and courteous manner.
  • Product Knowledge: Stay up-to-date on various insurance products, including automobile, fire, health, life, property, marine, aircraft, and other types of insurance.
  • Sales and Marketing: Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies to attract new clients and retain existing ones.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in the insurance industry or equivalent experience.
  • Licenses and Certifications: Provincial or territorial license to practice as an insurance agent.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week.
