Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Insurance Sales Representative to join our team at Paramjit Plaha Insurance Agency. As an Insurance Sales Representative, you will be responsible for contacting and assisting clients to sell property and casualty insurance products offered by our organization.

Main Responsibilities
  • Assist clients by applying changes, cancellations, and updates to their contracts, ensuring their needs are met effectively and advising them to ensure complete satisfaction and retention.
  • Establish personalized telephone contact with clients, creating a climate of trust conducive to the sale of home or auto insurance policies, educating and advising them on our products while adhering to our underwriting policies.
  • Seize all sales opportunities, solicitation, and product offers to drive business growth.
Qualifications
  • College diploma in a related field
  • 2 years of relevant experience
  • Previous insurance experience in various property and casualty disciplines, such as underwriting, claims, sales, or service, would be an asset

As an independent contractor agent, you will be responsible for and make all employment decisions regarding your employees. This role is part of the Desjardins exclusive agent network, not with Desjardins Group or its subsidiaries.
