We are seeking a skilled and organized Administrative Assistant to join our team at ONTARIO INC.

About the Role

This is a permanent, full-time position with an estimated salary of $45,000 per year, based on industry standards and Ontario's cost of living. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to our team, including scheduling appointments, preparing minutes, and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities
  • Record and prepare minutes of meetings, seminars, and conferences
  • Schedule and confirm appointments, both in-person and over the phone
  • Manage employee data and information, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality
  • Compile data, statistics, and other relevant information for reports and presentations
  • Maintain office supplies and inventory, ordering as needed
  • Type and proofread correspondence, forms, and other documents
  • Conduct research and provide recommendations to senior management
  • Perform data entry and maintain manual and computerized filing systems
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 1-2 years of experience in administration, preferably in a corporate setting
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Familiarity with Google Docs and Adobe Acrobat Reader
