Job Description

EcoVadis is seeking a highly motivated Sales Development Associate to join our team. As a Sales Development Associate, you will be responsible for generating new business opportunities to fuel revenue for EcoVadis. This includes conducting high-level discovery and educational conversations with Senior Executives in Target Accounts, scheduling qualified meetings for Account Executives, and evangelizing the importance of Sustainability and Corporate Social Responsibility for the supply chain of Global 500 companies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate new business opportunities to fuel revenue for EcoVadis
  • Conduct high-level discovery and educational conversations with Senior Executives in Target Accounts
  • Schedule qualified meetings for Account Executives
  • Evangelize the importance of Sustainability and Corporate Social Responsibility for the supply chain of Global 500 companies
  • Leverage teammates to develop target lists, call strategies, and messaging to drive opportunities in regional areas
  • Maintain an activity volume with the intent to qualify leads and create pipeline growth
  • Meet or exceed sales quota
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and competition
  • Report results on a weekly basis, both qualitative and quantitative
  • Quarterly business plan creation, reporting, and presentation to all key stakeholders
  • Record and document all calls and communications to identify trends for improvement
  • Leverage social networks for sales opportunities and leads

Requirements:

  • 4-year university degree
  • At least 1 year of experience in Sales Development, Lead Generation, Sales and/or Marketing
  • Experience working in Sustainability, CSR or B2B Procurement would be a plus
  • Cold-calling experience
  • Proficiency with Salesforce, LinkedIn, or other sales tools
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment
  • Highly motivated, driven, and self-starting
  • Good time management with strong organizational skills
  • Superior communication skills and the ability to build rapport
  • Ability to work well in an international team environment in a fast-growing business
