Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled System Analyst to join our team at Monzek Consulting. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for providing supplemental workforce support for operational and project workloads, daily support and administration of Mid-Range solutions, and offering supplemental support for Splunk.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support and assistance to ensure the smooth operation of Mid-Range solutions.
  • Assess and resolve system incidents related to the Mid-Range environment, reviewing logs and recommending appropriate actions for remediation.
  • Perform system updates and maintenance as directed, ensuring the stability and security of our systems.
  • Document system changes and participate in technical requirements analysis to ensure alignment with business needs.
  • Lead system enhancement analysis and design, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Ensure the creation of system documentation and operational procedures, promoting knowledge sharing and best practices.
  • Conduct unit, system, and performance testing to ensure the quality and reliability of our systems.
  • Provide post-implementation support and resolve system issues, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum productivity.
  • Offer ongoing production system support and investigate system problems, providing timely and effective solutions.

Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a mixed RedHat Linux and Windows environment.
  • Strong skills in analyzing business and technical requirements, with a focus on system design and SDLC methodology.
  • Proven experience in investigating and resolving system problems, including incident resolution and troubleshooting.
  • Ability to prepare and maintain system documentation, with strong interpersonal communication and writing skills.
  • Demonstrated experience working with databases and integration technologies, with a focus on Splunk and log review.
  • Experience in unit, system, and performance testing, with a focus on ensuring system quality and reliability.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and support system implementations, including post-implementation support and production system support.
  • Experience in working on large, complex IT systems with multiple stakeholders, with a focus on collaboration and knowledge sharing.

Must-Have Skills:

  • Supplemental support on Splunk, with a focus on log review and system troubleshooting.
  • Mandatory experience with log review, system updates, and maintenance routines.
  • Ability to perform updates and maintenance routines, with a focus on system stability and security.
  • Experience in investigating and resolving system problems, with a focus on incident resolution and troubleshooting.
  • Providing support to production systems, with a focus on system quality and reliability.

Education:

  • DCS / DEC (preferred)

Experience:

  • Perform updates and maintenance routines: 2 years (required)
