About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled System Analyst to join our Information Technology Team at CPA Ontario. As a key member of our Enterprise Architecture team, you will work closely with cross-functional departments to provide effective system solutions and recommendations.

Key Responsibilities
  • System Evaluation and Optimization: Collaborate with IT department members to examine and evaluate current and prospective systems, optimizing solutions to meet the organization's needs.
  • Requirements Gathering and Validation: Identify system requirements and partner with users to track additional requirements and features, validating changes through testing.
  • Interface Documentation: Document interfaces between new and legacy systems.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work collaboratively with business stakeholders, including developers and business analysts, and collaborate with third-party product experts to perform technical due diligence processes.
  • User Support and Training: Provide walkthroughs and guidance to users, championing new operation systems, and offer support as required.
  • Staying Current with Technology Trends: Stay current in technology trends, vendor products, and new industry technologies.
Requirements
  • A post-secondary graduate in information systems, information technology, computer science, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a Systems Analyst role, with proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics 365 and SharePoint, and experience with Power BI and dashboarding.
  • Skilled in software development and documentation, with familiarity with programming languages.
  • Highly organized, able to manage projects and timelines within tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Able to work efficiently and effectively as a team member, as well as independently.
  • An excellent communicator, able to convey ideas succinctly and convey complex findings and insights to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • A self-starter with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think analytically about solutions.
  • Committed to ongoing training and a desire to learn new skills and continually expand upon knowledge and expertise.
