**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Operations Officer to join our team in the Government of Canada - Central. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented individual to take on a key role in supporting the CEO Office.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Allocate resources to implement organizational policies and programs.
  • Authorise and establish major departments and associated senior staff positions.
  • Coordinate the work of regions, divisions, or departments.
  • Establish objectives for the organization and formulate or approve policies and programs.
  • Represent the organization in negotiations or other official functions.
  • Select middle managers, directors, or other executive staff.
  • Establish financial and administrative controls.

**Required Skills and Qualifications**

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Excellent leadership and coordination skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
