About the Opportunity

The Nova Scotia Health Authority is seeking a skilled Medical Radiation Therapist to join our team. As a key member of our radiation oncology department, you will be responsible for preparing patients for radiation treatment and ensuring accurate administration of care.

About You

We are looking for an individual with a strong background in radiation therapy, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. If you have experience working with CT scanners, treatment localization software, and radiation sources, we encourage you to apply.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited Radiation Therapy Program in Canada or a non-Canadian program recognized by the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists
  • License and registration with the Nova Scotia College of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy Professionals
  • Excellent working knowledge of relevant computer software programs
  • Demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills
  • Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred
Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $43.45 - $50.66 per hour, as well as a comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, travel, long-term disability, and life insurance coverage, plus a defined benefit pension plan.

Compensation

This permanent, full-time position offers 75 hours bi-weekly and a competitive salary range of $43.45 - $50.66 per hour.
