Job Description

As an Asset Management Lead at Ubisoft Entertainment, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the quality and deadlines of your team's work. Your primary responsibility will be to support the Project Lead/Production Manager in ensuring the successful development of the game.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Game Knowledge and Leadership: You will be responsible for knowing the game's story and gameplay, as well as understanding the technical and artistic constraints. This knowledge will enable you to lead and coach your team effectively.
  2. Reporting and Progress Updates: You will draft regular reports for the Project Lead/Production Manager on the advancement of your team's work. These reports will include recommendations for corrective measures to meet project objectives.
  3. Conflict Resolution and Team Mentoring: You will anticipate and recognize potential conflicts within the team and recommend solutions to the Project Lead/Production Manager. Additionally, you will serve as a mentor to team members, providing guidance on technical and artistic aspects.
  4. Performance Assessments and Bug Correction: You will participate in performance assessments with the Project Lead/Production Manager and coordinate bug correction related to your team's work.
  5. Animation Creation: You will be responsible for creating a portion of the required animation.
Requirements
  1. Experience and Qualifications: You must have experience in animation and team leadership, as well as participation in at least one complete game production or equivalent.
  2. Time and Priority Management: You will be responsible for managing your time and priorities effectively, as well as those of your team.
  3. Stress and Change Management: You will need to possess stress and change management skills to handle the demands of this role.
  4. Database Knowledge: Knowledge of database management systems, such as JIRA and Perforce, is an asset.
  5. Technical Knowledge: You will need to have knowledge of real-time 3D engines and level editors.
