Job Title: Senior Technical Consultant

Job Summary:
Foicon is seeking a highly skilled Senior Technical Consultant to join our team. As a key member of our technical team, you will be responsible for providing expert-level technical knowledge and coordinating administration, monitoring, management, and implementation of configuration management and automation of processes.

Key Responsibilities:
Providing highly specialized senior technical knowledge and coordinating administration, monitoring, management, and implementation of configuration management and automation of processes.
Providing expertise in working with the right tools and processes to build an efficient and effective automated environment for DevOps.
Providing expertise in developing and implementing lifecycle management and vulnerability management best practices for Linux and Containerized environments such as Ubuntu and Docker.
Providing expertise in automation for Linux and Docker infrastructure including the integration with orchestration and automation systems using Ansible, Jenkins.
Providing expertise in configuration management to keep track of software and operating system configurations.
Providing expertise with writing code to replace manual infrastructure provisioning.
Providing expertise with creating automated processes for system monitoring and alerting on downtimes, errors, and similar events.
Providing expertise with configuration of containerized applications in enterprise environment.
Providing expertise with VMware-based virtualization and cloud services such as Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services.

Requirements:
Strong knowledge of virtualization platforms including VMware, Cisco Hyperflex.
Experience with network management platforms such as Netbox.
Strong knowledge of Cisco 9K, SD-WAN (Viptela) configuration, migration, strong troubleshooting experience.
Palo Alto Firewalls, Panorama, installation, configuration, daily operation.
IPv4/IPv6 experience.
Experience with projects relating to 24x7 critical environments and operations.
Ability to work in agile dynamic environment.
Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills with the ability to work well in a collaborative environment.
Highly self-motivated and directed, with keen attention to detail.
Ability to effectively prioritize tasks in a high-pressure environment.
Strong customer service orientation with proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Must haves:
Able to run scripts and create automations for Start and Start Services on Ubuntu.
Strong knowledge of virtualization platforms including VMware, Cisco Hyperflex.
Palo Alto Firewalls, Panorama, installation, configuration, daily operation.
