About the Role

Central 1 Credit Union is seeking a seasoned Senior Project Manager to spearhead data-driven projects and initiatives with far-reaching impact. As a key member of our team, you will lead the planning and execution of projects that drive business growth, improve data quality, and enhance information security.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic leadership to project teams, ensuring successful project delivery and stakeholder satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, technology experts, and support services to develop and implement data governance frameworks, policies, and procedures.
  • Establish and oversee project governance, ensuring effective project management and stakeholder engagement.
  • Develop and manage project plans, risk management strategies, and issue logs to ensure project success.
  • Communicate project status, plans, and operational reports to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Facilitate change management and decision-making through effective communication and presentation of project information.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in data management projects, including data capture, curation, and consumption.
  • 10+ years of project management experience in the Canadian financial services industry, with a strong track record of delivering large projects.
  • Project management certification (PMP, PRINCE2) is preferred.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, planning, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Excellent business acumen, collaboration, communication, presentation, and influencing skills.
  • Familiarity with data management tools, data privacy laws, and commitment to ethical data use.
What We Offer
