Senior Manager, Global Accounting Policies and Procedures Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager to lead our Global Accounting Policies and Procedures team. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for researching and developing accounting policies and procedures, as well as implementing them across the organization.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address accounting issues and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Stay up-to-date with changes in accounting standards and regulations, and provide guidance to the team on implementation.
- Manage and maintain accurate and detailed records of accounting policies and procedures.
- Develop and deliver training programs to ensure that employees understand and can apply accounting policies and procedures.
- Canadian CPA designation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Strong knowledge of accounting standards and regulations, including IFRS.
