Sales Engineer Role

N-able is seeking a skilled Sales Engineer to accelerate product usage and remove technical buying objections to drive our business forward.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct engaging product demonstrations to showcase N-able's capabilities and benefits to prospective partners.
  • Manage prospect requirements by understanding their unique needs and challenges, providing technical assistance and guidance throughout the sales process.
  • Lead trial orientations and walkthroughs, highlighting N-able's strengths and capabilities, to help potential partners make informed decisions.
  • Conduct competitive analysis and stay up-to-date with market trends to understand competitor strengths and capabilities.
  • Collaborate with partners to assess and address client requirements during product deployment, ensuring a seamless experience.
  • Provide design and configuration best practices to partners when deploying N-Able products to their networks, ensuring optimal performance and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Sales Engineer, Field/Networking Technician, or Systems Administrator, demonstrating technical sales acumen and customer-facing skills.
  • Ability to effectively convey product messaging and value proposition through technical demonstrations, trade show demonstrations, and onsite training engagements.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and client management skills to build rapport and trust with partners.
  • Ability to plan, organize, and implement projects efficiently to meet specific deadlines.
  • The capability to thrive in a dynamic, rapidly growing environment, and work autonomously, demonstrating nimbleness and proactive problem-solving.
