Job Description for Administrative Assistant

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team at Canyon Flooring Ltd.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Scheduling and Coordination: Arrange and co-ordinate seminars, conferences, and other events, ensuring smooth execution and timely completion.
  • Documentation and Record-Keeping: Prepare minutes of meetings, seminars, and conferences, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Office Procedures and Routines: Develop and establish efficient office procedures and routines, enhancing productivity and workflow.
  • Communication and Customer Service: Answer telephone calls, relay messages, greet people, and direct them to relevant contacts or service areas.
  • Data Management and Reporting: Compile data, statistics, and other information, providing valuable insights to support business decisions.
  • Supply Chain Management: Order office supplies and maintain inventory levels, ensuring adequate stock and minimizing waste.
  • Correspondence and Document Preparation: Type and proofread correspondence, forms, and other documents, ensuring accuracy and professionalism.

This is a permanent position with 30-40 hours per week, offering a competitive salary range of $45,000 - $60,000 per annum, commensurate with experience.
