Job Description

SJB TRANSPORT LTD. is seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant to join our team. As a key member, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Co-ordinating Seminars and Conferences: Arrange and co-ordinate seminars, conferences, and other events as required.
  • Supervising Other Workers: Supervise and support other team members as needed.
  • Minute-Taking: Record and prepare minutes of meetings, seminars, and conferences.
  • Office Procedures: Determine and establish office procedures and routines.
  • Scheduling: Schedule and confirm appointments.
  • Communication: Answer telephone calls, relay messages, and respond to electronic enquiries.
  • Office Supplies: Order office supplies and maintain inventory.
  • Client Service: Greet visitors, direct them to contacts or service areas, and provide excellent client service.
  • Information Management: Set up and maintain manual and computerized information filing systems.
Requirements

Key qualifications and skills include:

  • Google Docs, MS Excel, MS Windows, and MS Word skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a team environment.
  • Flexibility and a high level of organisation.
  • Excellent client focus and reliability.
Experience

Experience as an Administrative Assistant is an asset. A permanent position is available, working 35 to 40 hours per week. The language of work is English.
