**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly skilled Capital Markets Structuring Expert to join our team at Royal Bank of Canada. As a key member of our Multi Asset Structuring Team, Transaction Management Group, you will play a critical role in the management of the issuance process of structured notes traded across asset classes.

About the Opportunity:

  • Maintain and create appropriate range of issuance platforms for use in regions that our businesses operate in.
  • Produce and review legal documentation such as final terms and pricing supplements for global, cross-asset structured products.
  • Closely collaborate with Sales and other Structuring teams in the development of new products across asset classes.
  • Act as liaison and center of knowledge for trading desks across asset classes in connection with the notes programme rules and the structured product distribution requirements.

About Your Responsibilities:

  • Draft and review legal documentation (e.g. Final Terms, Pricing Supplements) for all products ensuring that the payoff, economic features and product events are reflected correctly matching the business objectives.
  • Maintain a repository of standard documentation (e.g. Term Sheets, Pricing Supplements, Final Terms).
  • Daily support to global Sales and other Structuring teams on live transactions that require TMG confirmation and/or advisory in connection with any issuance related matters, legal provisions on documentation and operational queries.
  • Collaboration with Sales, Structuring and Trading in the creation of new payoffs where TMG will advise on the feasibility from a programme and documentation perspective.

About You:

  • Highly numerate with good knowledge of capital markets products, such as equity, rates, credit, and commodity.
  • Ability to work meticulously under a high degree of pressure and strict deadlines.
  • Bachelor's degree and MBA, MA or MS or equivalent with emphasis in finance/accounting.
