- Monitor Revenues and Labour Costs: Monitor our revenues and labour costs to ensure that they are in line with our budget and goals.
- Supervise Staff: Supervise and train our staff to ensure that they are providing exceptional customer service and that they are working efficiently and effectively.
- Plan and Organize Daily Operations: Plan and organize the daily operations of the restaurant, including scheduling staff, managing inventory, and ensuring that all necessary tasks are completed.
- Recruit and Train Staff: Recruit and train new staff members to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge needed to provide exceptional customer service.
- Balance Cash and Complete Balance Sheets: Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports, and related forms to ensure that our financial records are accurate and up-to-date.
- Conduct Performance Reviews: Conduct regular performance reviews with staff to ensure that they are meeting their goals and objectives.
- Organize and Maintain Inventory: Organize and maintain inventory to ensure that we have the necessary supplies and materials to operate the restaurant efficiently.
- Ensure Health and Safety Regulations are Followed: Ensure that all health and safety regulations are followed to ensure the safety of our staff and customers.
- Negotiate with Suppliers: Negotiate with suppliers to ensure that we are getting the best possible prices for our food and other supplies.
- Participate in Marketing Plans: Participate in marketing plans and implementation to ensure that our restaurant is visible and attractive to potential customers.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a restaurant management role.
- Work Setting: Rural area.
- Computer and Technology Knowledge: Point of sale system.
