Restaurant Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Manager to join our team at NOVA SCOTIA LTD. As a Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our business runs smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:- Evaluate Daily Operations: Monitor and evaluate the daily operations of the restaurant, including food preparation, customer service, and staff performance.
- Modify Food Preparation Methods and Menu Prices: Work with our culinary team to modify food preparation methods and menu prices to ensure that they are aligned with our restaurant's budget and goals.
- Monitor Revenues and Labour Costs: Monitor revenues and labour costs to ensure that they are in line with our budget and goals.
- Supervise Staff: Supervise and train our staff to ensure that they are providing exceptional customer service and that they are meeting our high standards.
- Plan and Organize Daily Operations: Plan and organize daily operations, including scheduling staff, managing inventory, and ensuring that the restaurant is running smoothly and efficiently.
- Recruit and Train Staff: Recruit and train new staff members to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge needed to provide exceptional customer service.
- Balance Cash and Complete Balance Sheets: Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports, and related forms to ensure that our financial records are accurate and up-to-date.
- Conduct Performance Reviews: Conduct regular performance reviews with staff to ensure that they are meeting our high standards and to provide feedback and coaching as needed.
- Organize and Maintain Inventory: Organize and maintain inventory to ensure that we have the necessary supplies and equipment to run the restaurant efficiently.
- Ensure Health and Safety Regulations are Followed: Ensure that health and safety regulations are followed to ensure the well-being of our staff and customers.
- Negotiate with Suppliers: Negotiate with suppliers to ensure that we are getting the best prices and quality for our food and other supplies.
- Participate in Marketing Plans: Participate in marketing plans and implementation to ensure that our restaurant is visible and attractive to our target market.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a restaurant management role.
- Work Setting: Rural area.
- Computer and Technology Knowledge: Point of sale system.
