Restaurant Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Manager to join our team at NOVA SCOTIA LTD. As a Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our staff are well-trained and motivated.
Key Responsibilities:- Evaluate daily operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness
- Modify food preparation methods and menu prices to meet budget requirements
- Monitor revenues and labour costs to optimize profitability
- Supervise staff to ensure excellent customer service and high-quality food preparation
- Plan and organize daily operations, including inventory management and staff scheduling
- Recruit and train new staff members to ensure a high-performing team
- Balance cash and complete financial reports to ensure accurate accounting
- Conduct performance reviews to identify areas for improvement and provide feedback to staff
- Ensure health and safety regulations are followed at all times
- Negotiate with suppliers to secure the best prices for food and other supplies
- Participate in marketing plans to promote our restaurant and attract new customers
- 2 years of experience in a restaurant management role
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make quick decisions
- Knowledge of point-of-sale systems and inventory management software
- Ability to train and develop staff to meet business needs
