About the Role

Miracle Duct Cleaning is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Facilities Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our cleaning staff, ensuring that our facilities are maintained to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Hire and Train Staff: Recruit, train, and develop a team of cleaning staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge required to perform their duties effectively.
  • Supervise and Coordinate Activities: Oversee the daily activities of our cleaning staff, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Inspect Sites and Facilities: Conduct regular inspections of our facilities to ensure that they meet our high standards of cleanliness and safety.
  • Prepare Budgets and Cost Estimates: Develop and manage budgets and cost estimates for cleaning services, ensuring that we are operating within our means.
  • Recommend Additional Services: Identify opportunities for additional services, such as painting, repair work, or renovations, and recommend these to our management team.
  • Maintain Financial Records: Ensure that all financial records are accurate and up-to-date, including payroll, invoices, and expenses.
  • Coordinate Work Activities: Coordinate work activities with other departments, such as maintenance and facilities management, to ensure that our facilities are maintained to the highest standards.
Requirements
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a supervisory role, preferably in a cleaning or facilities management environment.
  • Education: College/CEGEP or equivalent experience.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Environment: Confined spaces, wet/damp, odours, dusty.
  • Work Setting: Office building, cleaning service company, commercial facility, hotel, motel, resort, school or educational institution/establishment.
  • Security and Safety: Criminal record check.
  • Personal Suitability: Dependability, flexibility, reliability.
