About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Cleaning Supervisor to join our team at AllStream Janitorial Services Inc.

Key Responsibilities
  • Hire and Train Staff: Recruit, train, and develop a team of cleaning staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties efficiently.
  • Supervise and Coordinate Activities: Oversee the daily activities of the cleaning staff, ensuring that tasks are completed on time and to the required standard.
  • Inspect Sites and Facilities: Conduct regular inspections of sites and facilities to ensure that they meet our high standards of cleanliness and safety.
  • Prepare Budgets and Cost Estimates: Develop and manage budgets and cost estimates for cleaning services, ensuring that we are providing value to our clients.
  • Recommend Additional Services: Identify opportunities to provide additional services to our clients, such as painting, repair work, or renovations.
  • Assist Cleaners: Provide support and guidance to cleaners as needed, ensuring that they have the resources and equipment required to perform their duties.
  • Coordinate with Other Departments: Work closely with other departments to ensure that our cleaning services are integrated with other business operations.
  • Establish Work Schedules: Develop and manage work schedules for the cleaning staff, ensuring that they are able to meet the demands of our clients.
About You
  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and manage a team of cleaning staff.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and staff.
  • Organizational Skills: Highly organized and able to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify and resolve problems quickly and efficiently.
  • Physical Demands: Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment and perform physically demanding tasks as required.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Experience in a supervisory or management role, preferably in the cleaning or facilities management industry.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 35 hours per week.
